Digicam broken

My Ixus 50 stopped working while on the fjords in Oslo; I should have the receipt in the admin folder somewhere. As far as I know warranty should be 24 months on consumer products in the EU; better check that and send the camera back to Canon.

If else, it's an excuse to purchase an EOS 300D.
