Oranje boven! Leve de Koningin!

Totally forgot about that; the Koninginnedag celebrations last Saturday; The Dutch Ireland Society had organised a get-together to celebrate Koninginnedag. Well, what's that you may ask? Well, first of all, it's a big piss-up. But second of all, we celebrate the birthday of the Queen. Well, actually not really. We used the celebrate the birthday of the Queen Mother. And now that she's passed away, we don't celebrate anything anymore really, we just have an excuse to drink ourselves silly.

Anyway, we had a brilliant time with a big group of Dutchies down in the Heineken brewery in Cork - there's always a home away from home!

And even our beloved 'Queen Beatrix' dropped by for a meet and greet.



And yes, there was plenty of this liquid available
