Learner driver around Little Island - be aware!

This week Deadlydee is giving me some driving lessons after work, so don't come around Eastgate Business Park after 19.00 hours, cos Wout will be driving around in circles and is practising his footwork on the clutch.

Just so that you're aware!

And she didn't throw the bouquet

So there was nothing to catch! Eitherway, it was a fantastic wedding with a delighted bride and groom and a lot of happy (drunk?) family and friends.

We finished up the night around 03.15 and after a full Irish breakfast at 09.30 we went back to bed to catch a bit more sleep; Needless to say, after a long journey back to Cork yesterday we were delighted to be at home, in bed, and with Kerry reaching the All Ireland Finals.

Up the Kingdom!

Thank you Katie!

Thanks to Katie our travel agent, I was able to land back into Cork Airport at 20.20 hours, instead of 23.25 hours. So after a hard day's work in Paddington, I got back to my own bed, my own house in a reasonable time!

We're off to a wedding in Killaloe this weekend; should be fun alright, just as long as Leagle Eagle doesn't catch the bouquet!

HEH!

London tomorrow

Just in case you're around, give me a shout; have got to solve some technical problems at a client's location; leaving 07.36 flight, returning 23.25.... working 9-5? Never heard of it.

Schedule Wout! Schedule!

Well,

Wether we like it or not, we have to work with a schedule over the next two months; With the Dutchies visiting, the work trips abroad and Dee's family visiting from America, our weekends are basically booked until early November.

So yeah, combine that with Dee starting college again at the end of September and you'll understand why you'll see so little of us.

Oh, and I can highly recommend going for a picknick / dinner at Garryvoe Beach; I got stuck on a conference call until 1930 last night, so when Dee collected me we drove straight to the beach with a picknick basket eating our dinner overlooking the sea; Very relaxing and while the weather lasts, we might as well enjoy it!

What a week!

It's been one of those weeks again; working hard and partying harder! It's pretty crazy to go to bed early one night to be able to go out until late the following night! Thank God we're still young and era, the cycling in the morning makes wakes you up, so I always arrive awake and energetic at the office! Life is great!

We're down to Lauragh tomorrow morning; I've done some redesigning of the website for the campsite, so far only good feedback and plenty of hits, so happy enough;

Eye test !

If you don’t see anything, pull the corners of your eyes apart, as with the chinese people. It works !

Pig farm in County Tipperary

Sometimes you receive emails that just have to be published.

What a waste of time!

Alright, ye see a trailer and think it looks like a great movie.

Well, what a piece of shite! 'The Weddingcrashers' - don't even think about going to see it. I nearly walked out... then, I only did that with 'Artificial Intelligence'. It wasn't that bad at all!

We're off to Corofin tonight and then onwards to Balla in Mayo.. should be good alright.

Have a good weekend!

Another poll to be rigged

The Noah's Ark-esque Glucksman Gallery in UCC has been nominated in the BBC's "Best Building of the Year" award because experts say that it's a daycint looking building and who are we to disagree.

Already working its way up the rankings to 1st place citizens and exiles of the People's Republic of Cork are being called on to ensure another BBC poll is hijacked so that a fair and credible result is achieved.

Crazyness... but hey, it got him hitched!

Two hours to get from Passage West to Little Island

Long live the public transport in this country! As my poor bicycle has failed on me again, I was forced to take public transport this morning. I left the house at 07.20, arrived at the office at 09.15. Considering that it would be only 2 miles across the water, it's pretty sad to say that I travelled at an average of 1 mile per hour. WOW!

Entrepreneurs!

"I had tenants that weren't paying rent. I had been taking them to court for several years and they were always able to beat the system. All this added up to aggravation, time lost, and attorney fees. Then I contacted HITMAN and my problem was expediently solved next day. Next morning I read the headline in the paper that my tenants were found dead of a drug overdose. The police was not really interested in investigating the death of two junkies. Case closed."

Good add!

Better get my voting rights sorted out actually...

Nothing but a chair!

Well, as we've got no more futon left, we spent last night sitting on a dinner table chair having some chinese take-away while watching tele. How exciting! Thank God we've got the new couch arriving now on Monday so we won't have to sit on chairs for too long.

We're off to Lauragh tonight, looking forward to it! Nice, quiet, relaxing. Just what we need! Next weekend is gonna be a party weekend, so we better charge the batteries before we start!

Charlie and the chocolate factory

Not that I ever read the book by Roald Dahl, or even saw the first movie, but last night we went to see 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory' in the cinema. A good enough movie, some funny bits, nothing over-exciting!

Ronan's dad is picking up the futon tonight, so I need to re-arrange the delivery of our little two-seater couch from 'Square Deal' and have it delivered on Monday instead of Thursday; hopefully they can do it, if else, we'll be visiting all of you next week to ensure we're not sitting on the floor!
