The irony of ironing

Yep, got some ironing to do alright. Any takers?

Morning bird

As we've got Dee's goodbye party from her current firm on today I decided to take the bus into town and train onwards to the office. It was an early morning. Especially as we left the Rochestown Inn at midnight. Had a good nite though; settled up with our tiler Benny and had some craic agus ceol with Ronan.

Another beautiful morning

This morning I just missed the cross river ferry, but hey, that gave me plenty of time to take some snaps of another freezing cold, but beautiful morning.

Our 'Mansion'.

Surely, no house can go without a Vincent van Gogh. Perhaps I've won the Lotto last night. I'd better check actually, I might be able to put up a real one! Just checked; No Winners. :-(

Just in case I didn't win, I am still delighted with our Roman style bathroom

And yes, there is still a lot of mess to clean up. No rush. At least for now that is...

Roma Victor!

So yeah, after this long and lengthy battle with our builders who didn't comply to building regulations and ignored our sollicitor for three months, we finally managed to move into 'The Mansion'. As a preview, some pictures of the first night when we moved in. Will post more on how it looks like right now.

Op een klein stationnetje 's morgens in de vroegte

I tell ye now, cycling from Passage West to Little Island is only 45 minutes, but by god, it's freezing! In February! By all means, Met Eireann, what's going on? So yeah, just taking the ferry from Passage to Carrigaloe and onwards by train to Little Island for now.

Beirut

My employer held a sales conference in Beirut, Lebanon some weeks ago.

Then, their former PM got assasinated two weeks later at several hundred yards from my hotel. How about being at the wrong place at the wrong time?
